3. How New TV Shows Can Win on Social Media with Sarah Kunin, Head of Unscripted Development at Riverside Entertainment

Today’s episode is all about the relationship between social media and television — and today’s guest is Sarah Kunin! She’s a 3X Emmy and Edward R Murrow Award-winning television producer, a former Supervising Producer at Good Morning America, and is currently the Head of Unscripted Development at Riverside Entertainment where she also serves as the showrunner and executive producer for “Making Modern with Brooke & Brice” a new show coming soon to Discovery+. Her digital goals are all about how she can best use social media to discover new talent, promote existing shows, and build communities that can lead to more season pickups, spinoffs, and even bigger projects.

On today’s episode we get into Sarah’s background and what it was like being a TV producer when social media first came on the scene, the relationship between TV and social media, how to optimize the social media presence of TV shows with new talent, and a little sneak peek into what she’s working on.
